Can I become an equine vet tech with animal science?

I want to study animal science with emphasis on horses in college. It’s a bachelors degree. Could I become an equine vet tech with that degree?

    nope. You need to apply to and finish a program with an accredited university to get an associates degree in vet tech. Purdue University has a great one

    if you need more answers on college stuff like this, you can try collegeboard.com They list certain careers especially vet tech and what you need to know, what you need to do in that field, and you education needed.

    You need to go through an actual vet tech program at an accredited college. They have college’s that allow you to do courses online so that you dont have to go to the school. By doing this program you will be getting an AS and be eligible to take the state board exam to become a registered vet tech.
